AD7 win Christian Salvesen contract
We are currently working with Christian Salvesen to help administer and support their worldwide Domino/Lotus Notes email infrastructure. Due to a lack of housekeeping they were experiencing performance issues, critical disk space alerts and regular server outages. In order to resolve these issues we placed our Lotus Notes Specialist within the company who worked closely with CS staff to devise a solution. Within twenty four hours we provided the company with a project plan which included the deletion of unused mail accounts and numerous databases in order to free up some very much required disk space. Once this was achieved we introduced quotas on each account to ensure that user databases could no longer spiral out of control and also implemented an archiving policy. In addition to this we are also in the process of carrying out a general tidy up of their infrastructure and re-configuring their servers in order to optimise and improve their performance.
